I created this page as a warning to all out there with aging parents.
Please be vigilant to what money is being spent on "so called' sweepstakes.
For the past few years I have quarreled with my Mother about
what she is donating to and what truthful sweepstakes she is dealing with.
The listing comes from the mail that I have intercepted and shredded.

Sweepstakes asking for processing fee that starts at $3.00 and goes up from there ...

These sweepstakes take in much more money than what they are willing to pay out..
Expect winnings that usually range less than $1.00 (most often) or they will send
you coupons for discounts on things you are not interested in.

Minimal cash is dispensed to thousands of entrants so the organization can cover their butts.

Sweepstakes that hide behind medicine

The problem with these sweepstakes is that they get your donation as a sweepstakes ploy.
I haven't heard of anyone winning any pay outs and some are questionable as far as being tax deductible
donations. Who ever heard of a tax deductible sweepstakes?
